Job Summary
Job Duties/ Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
• Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
• Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across all subsidiary businesses to develop solutions.
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migration,s and outages
• Managing and coordinating inputs from a range of IT team members and stakeholders
• Keeping up to date with the most recent technologies and advising on what new technological solutions and their implementation will meet business and systems requirements
• Managing and responding to hardware or software malfunctions, and arranging replacements or repairs
• Conducting regular system audits and software performance testing
• Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems
• Manages software licenses across all subsidiaries
• Preserve assets, information security, and control structures
• Oversee annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness
Job Details
Oversee the information technology infrastructure, and implement IT strategy in alignment with the strategic business objectives of the organization.
Requirements
Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree/HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, Eng, Electrical Eng Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university. A master’s degree will be an added advantage. Professional Qualification: At least 2 certifications from MCSA, MCSE, MCIPT, CCNA, ITIL, CCNP, CCSE, COBIT, CBAP, PMP etc. Experience • Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in the information technology Department
• Experience in leading and managing IT Department in a well-structured organization.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage
